Alumni Testimonials

At Malvern Behavioral Health, our goal is to provide unparalleled and individualized treatment to young adults. Every single patient and their family receive care by a treatment team that is dedicated to the emotional well-being of every individual we treat. We take pride in our outstanding patient satisfaction scores, which are the highest in the region.

The most rewarding part of our work is seeing our patients overcome tremendous challenges, grow, and change. Our commitment and dedication to each individual’s journey to behavioral wellness are shown through the following testimonials from patients and their family members. See what our Alumni have to say about their experience at Malvern Behavioral Health.

I simply will never find all the right words to make up for the impeccable treatment I was given here, but I will do my best. My time here at Malvern has been nothing short of great, despite of where I am and the mental state I had when I first came in. From the start, it was evident how much the staff and fellow patients cared about receiving the proper treatment to begin their process of recovery. It was truly admirable to see a staff of employees who genuinely cared about their job and providing the proper care for the patients. Going off of that, the Malvern employees do not treat people like they are patients, but instead, actual human beings who are struggling and need help. Since my first day, I have been blessed to watch the progress of fellow patients thrive on their recovery. I do not view Malvern as just another inpatient facility but rather a rehab place that deals with mental health among many other things. I could write about the wonders of Malvern for days but I hope you will see my appreciation for it with this.

Thank you all for taking such great care of me when I was unable to care for myself. It meant the world to me to have you all as a family! Every single one of you taught me a lesson I needed to learn. You all went beyond your job titles to help us all, make us feel comfortable and safe. From the bottom of my heart, I am filled with gratitude. Malvern has changed my life for the better and I will never forget this safe place. I apologize if I made your jobs any harder than they had to be, but know you saved my life and taught me what it means to be human. I am so much closer at achieving my dreams and loving myself-which I will never take for granted. Thank you for all of your hard work because none of it went unnoticed. You made it easier to live again. Thank you so much!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me become myself again. You are the bedrock of success. Not once did I feel alone, trapped, or unsupported: I knew I was truly cared for. When I was admitted, I was hopeless. I put what little energy I had into my treatment. I know I owe myself quite a bit of credit and I am proud of myself. My improvement and growth was made easier by your leadership, kindness, knowledge and patience. Not only am I grateful to be myself again, but now friends and family will see a full healthier version of me too. I know to expect bumps and uncertainty and I accept it. Thanks to your help, I want to see the future. The importance of your work reaches so far. Thank You With Gratitude

We are long overdue in sending this note of sincere thanks for caring and advocating for ____ a few weeks ago. From the very beginning of her stay at Malvern, she felt safe and cared for. The kindness you and your staff showed _____ was exceptional-we just can’t thank you enough.

If you remember, when I came in, all I wanted to do was die. I had nobody. No friends, a poor relationship with my parents, and I couldn’t stand to be alone in my own head for more than a minute without spiraling. I’m happy to say that I’m doing a lot better. Malvern was the first place that I ever felt heard. That I ever felt understood. That I’ve ever felt like someone actually gave a ____ about me. You all really helped me out so much, when all I wanted to do was give up- and not only did you catch me when I fell, you inspired me to do something to help other people.

This place is the best! The people that work here are amazing! Travis is great with patients and parents! Makes patients feel at ease right away. Social Worker Natalie is outstanding! She is honest and truthful and will encourage with a nudge to open up or let down your guard. She was like a guardian angel when my loved was in there. The world needs more Natalies and Travis in the world! And it is thanks to them that this program is so wonderful! Highly recommend!
