Co-Occurring Disorders : Sage Program

At Malvern Behavioral Health we understand that co-occurring disorders such as substance use disorder and other behavioral health concerns are prevalent. Malvern Behavioral Health offers a secure and supportive inpatient behavioral health environment for adults experiencing challenges with mental health and substance use disorders.

The Sage Program is specially designed to support those with co-occurring considerations. Using evidence-based treatment models to support recovery, our team will work with you to create a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan targeting both psychiatric and substance use symptoms. These treatment approaches will include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, and Psychoeducation. Mindfulness (ie. yoga, meditation) and movement activities will also be incorporated into the treatment day to help individuals self-sooth.

The Sage Program at Malvern Behavioral Health offers a medically supervised, comfortable environment to carefully detox our patients as needed, while providing psychiatric care.

Your social worker will ensure you have the support needed in your community to continue your recovery journey when you return home.
